M. at the Mooresville <br /> Town Hall due to their regular scheduled meeting for July 4, 2000 being a Holiday. <br /> <br /> Council members present: President Mark Mathis, Toby Dolen, John L. Clark, Tom Warthen, <br /> and Andy Pygman. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Warthen to approve the minutes <br /> of June 20th, 2000. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councihnan Clark to approve Sewer <br /> Availability Fees for Thermocore: Availability fees $2,200.00 and Connection fees <br /> $1,800.00. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> EDC Director Harold Gutzwiller informed the Council the final step for the Incentive package <br /> for TOA Industries needed to be approved and signed before TOA made their final decision. He <br /> told the Council the Redevelopment Commission had voted to pass the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding. <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve estimate of <br /> monies to be spent in the agreement from Food and Beverage tax. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Dolen to approve Ordinance # <br /> 10, 2000, no parking at comer of Jefferson Street and Washington Street. Motion carried 4-1, <br /> Councilman Warthen opposed. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve Ordinance <br /> #11, 2000 rezoning O'Dells back lots from B-2 to I-1. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Fire Chief Les Farmer informed the Council the early warning sirens had been ordered. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported eleven (11) calls, three (3) impounds, and two (2) <br /> returned. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Warthen, second by Councilman Pygman to approve payment <br /> of the claims.
