Tabled fi.om JanuaW 2, 2001 meeting, Bob Stewart, D & R Properties requesting a rezone fi.om <br /> R-1 to R-2 appeared before the Council. This property is located on Carlisle Street. The house <br /> that was there had partially burned and has been removed. Plans are for a double to be <br /> constructed of 100 percent brick and have offstreet parking front and back of the double. <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Dolen to approve the rezone <br /> from R-1 to R-2. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Appointments: Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to <br /> approve for another year town employee plan commission members Andy Pygman, Tim Bennett, <br /> and Jim Bruner. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to appoint Police <br /> Commission member Dean Kays for another term. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> President Tom Warthen appointed park board member Paul Ruch to another four year tenn. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Dolen to approve awarding the <br /> tentative contract for WWTP settling tanks project to the Iow bidder; Graves Plumbing Co. Inc. <br /> located in Switz City, Indiana, in the amount of $42,424.00. Motion carried 5-0. See attached <br /> bids. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Clark to approve the resolution <br /> for a lease-purchase agreement for masks and tanks for the Fire Department. Motion carried 5- <br /> <br />0. <br /> <br />Animal Control Officer, Mark Taylor reported thirteen (13) calls, three (3) impounded and zero <br />(0) returned. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve payment of <br />claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the council at this time, motion was made by <br />Councilman Pygman, second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. Motion carded 5-0. <br /> <br />The next regular scheduled council meeting will be Tuesday, February 6, 2001, at 6:30 P. M. at <br />the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Sandra R.
