April 12, 1990 <br /> <br /> The CoUncil met in executive session Thursday, April 12, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. <br />in the Economic Development office. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser, Steve Ballard, <br />Jack Forbes and Steve Edwards. No council members were absent. <br /> <br /> Town personnel was discussed. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to discuss at this time the meeting was <br />adjourned. <br /> <br /> -Treasurer <br /> <br /> April 17, 1990 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held in <br />Town Hall at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 1990. <br /> <br /> Omancil members present were: Dick Heald, Steve Ballard, Jack Forbes, <br />Pat Overholser and Steve Edwards. <br /> <br /> Mike Ksenak was representing Tim Currens as Town Council attorney. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as sutmmitted. <br /> <br /> Steve Edwards asked if there were any questions from visitors. Mrs. <br /> Sht~nate asked about Sewer Sinking fund payments. Steve Edwards replied that <br /> they were bond payments. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Lundy asked about the Cloverleaf development. She said she was told <br />no new sewer connections would be made. Steve Edwards replied that was in error, <br />no such statements were made. <br /> <br /> Harold Dinius asked if the Roger Raymond rezoned property would have <br /> sewers connected at town expense. Steve Edwards replied that hook-ons are <br /> charged to owners. <br /> <br /> George Smith of Cloverleaf spoke on the need for senior housing. Ail <br /> agreed that this is a need the ccm~unity has had for sometime and would service <br /> seniors wishing to remain in the Mooresville area. Motion was made by Councilman <br /> Forbes, second by Councilwoman Overholser to accept Resolution #5-1990- The inducement bond resolution was approved by all in favor. <br /> <br /> Carl Waite of HNTB has prepared preliminary drawings of proposed extention <br /> of sewers south of White Lick Creek along St. Rd. 67. He will proceed with more <br /> detailed plans for the next meeting. <br /> <br /> Question fora Harold Dinius; is new line in T.I.F. District? The reply <br /> was No. <br /> <br /> Board members accepted Greenwald bid for cemetery mowing. <br /> <br /> E.D.C. Director, Randy Haymaker, reported that Morgan County Ommmissioners <br /> are considering repairs of Old 67 bridge south of town limits. The old Inter <br /> urban right of way will eventually be turned over to Mooresville for town <br /> use. <br /> <br /> Dick Heald had pictures of alley which needed cleaning. <br /> <br /> <br />
