August 21, 1990 The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held Tuesday, August 21, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Council members present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser and Steve Edwards. Council members Steve Ballard and Jack Forbes were absent. Mr. Robert De Boar, 415 Conduitt Drive, ~appeared before the Council to get approval for a metered sprirukler syste~ Which would not be subject to sewer charges. Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman Overholser to approve a sewer charge exemption for the metered sprinkling system for Mr. Robert De Boar, 415 Conduitt Drive. Motion carried unanamously. Wilma Lee of the Mooresville Junior Football League appeared before the Council to inform the town that MJFL would hold their jamboree on Saturday, August 25, 1990 and they would be releasing five hundred balloons at the event. Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman Heald to approve the second reading of Ordinance #13-1990 A New Zoning Ordinance for the Town of Mooresville. Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman Overholser to adopt the 1991 budget for the Town of Mooresville for the following amounts: General Fund $1,459,694.00 MVH 446,461.00 Park 249,229.00 Park Bond 103,845.00 LR & S 40,0OO.O0 Motion carried unanamously. Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker asked the council to approve using funds from the Sewage Works Improvement Fund to have a study of the sewer lines in the TIF District started. Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman Overholser to approve Mr. Haymaker's request. Motion carried unanamously.
