create a problem for the department's hose hook-ups. Tim Currens will check the ordinances and see what the variation is and then send a letter to the developers for correction. Councilman Steve Ballard also brought to the attention of the Council a fire hydrant located at the northeast corner of Main Street near its intersection with Indiana Street. Both he and Fire Chief Brown feel that a parking space is located too close to the hydrant. Steve Edwards requested Street Superintendent Joe Beikman to have this space removed. Park Superintendent Brent Callahan reported a successful Halloween event at the park with an excellent turnout. He has~.~ been receiving lots of favorable comments. Paul Sterrett has been appointed the new Town Court Judge. Tim Currens has received a letter from the State Board of Accounts, stating, they will be conducting an audit of the court books as soon as time allows. The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held Tuesday, November 20, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Motion was made by Councilman Ballard and second by Councilman Heald to approve the bills and claims. Motion carried unanamously. There being no further business to come before the Mooreville Town Council at this time motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Ballard. Motion carried. President ATTEST: Clerk-Treasurer ~ November 20, 1990 The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held Tuesday, November 20, 1990 at the Mooresville Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. Council members present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser, Jack Forbes, Steve Ballard and Steve Edwards. No Council members were absent. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. The Wmsta Water Treatment Plant reported that the average flow for October was 1.03 million gallons. The decrease in flow can be credited to the work being done on sewer lines to stop infilltration. Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker asked the Council to appoint. a committee to review the options of a 457 retirement plan for town employees. Council President Edwards appointed Councilman Heald and Forbes along with Clerk-Treasurer Ann Whaley and EDC Director Randy Haymaker to serve on the Retirement Plan Committee. Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman Heald to approve $6,000.00 for HNTB to design the lift station for the south sewer line to Crosby Road. Motion carried unanamously. Council attorney Tim Currens advised the Council that he had once again reviewed the janitorial bids in response to an inquiry by Sandy McMahon in regard to the posting of a bond by the successful bidder. Mr. Currens' affirmed that the bids were in order and a bond has been posted by DEKAB the successful bidder.
