Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Council- <br /> woman Overholser to have town attorney Tim Currens mreDare a resolution <br /> in regard to the purchase of mroperty for public use. <br /> Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> The Council reviewed a request from Mr. William Krueger to pay <br /> for construction done at Mr. Krueger's residence to change the flow <br /> of rain water in the east and west alley between West Main Street <br /> and West Washington Street. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilman <br /> Ballard to reject Mr. Krueger's request, however the town would <br /> contruct a drainage tile as earlier specified by the Town Council <br /> to correct the drainage problem if Mr. Kruemer would permit this <br /> action to be taken. Motion carried unanamouslv. <br /> <br /> Councilwoman Overholser made a motion to approve the town to enter <br /> into a contract with Value Plus Pharmacy to allow town employees, <br /> which are covered by the town's health insurance policy, to purchase <br /> prescription drugs from Value Plus Pharmacy at a cost of $3.00 per <br /> presciption to the employee and Value Plus would bill the town for the <br /> cost of the prescription. Motion was second by Councilman Edwards. <br /> Motion carried uananamously. <br /> <br /> Councilman Edwards requested that the sidewalk on the south <br /> side of the Methodist Church be placed on the list of sidewalks to be <br /> replaced this year. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilman <br /> Forbes to submit the preliminary plans for the south sewer extension <br /> to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management for approval. <br /> Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Council- <br /> man Forbes to increase the amount of a grave opening to $275.00 <br /> and the amount of an infant grave opening to $100.00. <br /> Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Councilman Ballard advised the Council that the fire department <br /> has hired two additional firefighters. They will be startin~ em- <br /> ployment in the near future. <br /> <br /> Council President Heald advised the council of the need to appoint <br />two Council members to a committee to oversee the duties of town <br />department heads and to monitor town employees salaries. President <br />Heald asked the Clerk-Treasurer to write a letter to all department <br />heads asking them to write a detail description of their job and <br />a description of each of their employee's jobs. These job descriptions <br />will be available to the Council within thirty days at which time <br />a personnel committee will be appointed. <br /> <br /> The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held <br />Tuesday, February 5, 1991 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilman <br />Ballard to pay the bills and claims.
