155 <br /> <br /> Mrs. Rachael Ruona appeared before the Council to advise the <br /> Council that the insurance claim for water damage to her basement <br /> on South Street had been denied, and to inquire as to what further <br /> steps could be taken in regard to this matter. The Council advised <br /> Mrs. Ruona that her alternative to receive compensation is to sue <br /> the town. <br /> <br /> Mr. Carl Corbin of Indiana Bell appeared before the Council to <br /> request an easement behind the Town Hall to install a 6' x 7' con- <br /> crete pad to place a cross connect box for Indiana Bell. The <br /> Council advised Mr. Corbin that the town is in the initial design <br /> stages of a Town Hall renovation project and it would be necessary <br /> to move Indiana Bell's proposed location for the cross connect box. <br /> Mr. Corbin will consult Indiana Bell's engineers and return with a <br /> new location next meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Alan Deerwester requested the Council to release $22,059.00 <br /> of the Escrow Agreement for Rooker Trace Section I. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to approve the request of Mr. Alan Deerwester to release <br /> $22,059.00 of the Escrow Agreement for RookerTrace Section I. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Council- <br /> man Viles to approve the Agency Agreement between the Mooresville <br /> Redevelopment Authority and the Town of Mooresville. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he has received <br />seventeen (17) calls, impouded eight (8) animals and returned two <br />(2) animals to their owners. <br /> <br /> The Council discussed the community service hours which the court <br />has assessed to the young man that vandalized the cemetery in the <br />fall of 1991. The Council decided to set up a work schedule and <br />have the young man report to the police shift supervisor for duties <br />on a regular basis. <br /> <br /> <br />
