1.71 <br /> <br /> November 17, 1992 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held <br /> Tuesday, November 17, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser, Steve <br /> Edwards and Steve Ballard. Councilman Tim Viles was absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Town Attorney, Tim Currens, advised the Council that the due <br /> process hearing for Officer Greg Staum would be set at the next <br /> meeting. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he received ten (10) <br /> calls, with no animals impounded. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman <br /> Overholser to release $22,624.36 from the Caperton Development, <br /> Roberson Woods Section 1 Escrow Account. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to close East Main Street from Indiana Street to Clay Street <br /> on Saturday, December 5, 1992 for~the Victorian Christmas celebration. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilman <br /> Heald to transfer $1,329.22 from Federal Revenue Sharing Fund to <br /> the Cemetery Fund. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilman <br /> Heald to pay the bills and claims. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br /> Town Council at this time motion to adjourn was made by Councilwoman <br /> Overholser, second by Councilman Edwards. No Council members were absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Marilyn Yeager and Mr. Hoffman of Sunbury Drive appeared before <br />the Council to explain the problems they are experiencing with the <br />sewer system in that area. After much discussion the Council <br />advised them the town will vaccum thei~ sewer line more often and <br />when funds become available they will look into replacing sewer lines <br />in their area. <br /> <br /> <br />
