'174 The Council approved replacing security lights on Lincoln Lane at the first intersection west of Maple Lane and at Northridge Drive and Monroe Street with street lights. The Council asked Street Commissioner Joe Beikman to verify that a light across from the Church of God on East Main Street is a security light, before they approve a street light in that location. It was reported that the animal control officer received nine (9) calls and impounded five (5) animals. Motion to pay the bills and claims was made by Councilman Viles and second by Councilwoman Overholser. Motion carried unani- moulsy. The Mooresville Town Council will meet in special session Tuesday, December 29, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall to accept bids on Fire ApparatuS. There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Council at this time motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Viles and second by Councilwoman Overholser. Pre~s~ent -- ATTEST: ~lerk-Treas~rer~ December 29, 1992 The Mooresville Town Council met in special session Tuesday, December 29, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Council members present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser, Steve Edwards, Tim Viles and Steve Ballard. No members were absent. Town attorney, Tim Currens opened the only bid for the fire apparatus from Pierce in the amount of $182,225.85. After a short recess to review the bid Fire Chief Darrell Brown recommended to the Council to accept the bid from Pierce. Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman Overholser to accept the bid from Pierce for the Fire apparatus in the amount of $182,225.85 contingent on the approval of Town Attorney Tim Currens. Motion carried unanimously. Town Attorney Tim Currens advised the Council that Holloway Land Surveyors had requested permission for the 1.217 acres on St. Rd. 144 across from Rooker Trace Subdivision be allowed to hook a multi- family housing unit on the municipal sewer system. The Council advised that Waste Water Treatment Superintendent Steve Orme and the Sewer Collection manager Joe Beikman address this request. The Council approved the release of funds from Rooker Trace Subdivision, Section 1 subject to the approval of Street Superintendent Joe Beikman. Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser to amend the Ordinance #25-1992 the Town of Mooresville Salary Ordinance to read Assistant Street Superintendent $29,785.60. Motion carried unanimously.
