Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> PRE~i~D~NT- v .... ~ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK-TREASURER ~ <br /> <br /> January 5, 1993 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held <br /> Tuesday, January 5, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser, <br /> Tim Viles, Steve Edwards and Steve Ballard. No members were absent. <br /> <br /> Council President Ballard opened the floor for nominations for <br /> Council President for 1993. Councilman Viles nominated Councilman <br /> Ballard, Councilwoman Overholser second the nomination. There being <br /> no additional nominations for Council President nominations were <br /> closed. Councilman Ballard was elected by acclamation. <br /> <br /> Council President Ballard opened the floor for nominations for <br /> Council Vice President for 1993. Councilman Viles nominated <br /> Councilwoman Overholser, Councilman Heald second the nomination. <br /> There being no additional nominations for Council Vice President <br /> nominations for Council Vice President nominations were closed. <br /> Councilwoman Overholser was elected by acclamation. <br /> <br /> The contract for the Pierce fire apparatus which was approved <br /> at the previous meeting was signed by the Council. <br /> <br /> The Amended Ordinance #26-1992 which was approved at the <br /> previous meeting was signed by the Council. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to release $12,919.15 of the Escrow Account for Rooker Trace <br /> Section I. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> President Ballard re-appointed Charles Swisher and Robert Tucker <br /> to the Mooresville Redevelopment Commission for 1993. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman <br /> Overholser to re-appoint Norman Connell, David Kollmeyer and Glen <br /> Barron to the Mooresville Redevelopment Commission for 1993. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Council President Steve Ballard re-appointed Toby Dolen to the <br /> Mooresville Park Board. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald to re-appoint Steve Edwards, <br />Bill Abbott and Tim Bennett to the Mooresville Plan Commission. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Council President Ballard re-appointed Vern Kimmel to the Board <br /> of Zoning Appeals. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilman <br /> Viles to re-appoint Alan Kramer to the Board of Zoning Appeals. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
