2O7 Street Superintendent Joe Beikman informed the Council that he had been asked to inquire into the possibility of making the first north-south alley west of Indiana Street one way from South Street to High Street. Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Edwards to table the one way alley request until a later date. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Viles to allow Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker to investigate the possibility of the Town receiving a REA loan to finance a sewer expansion on the east side of State Road 67 south to Ambassador Steele. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman Edwards to award the contract for the south sewer line extension to Poe's Cafeteria to Reynold's Contractor's Inc. Motion carried unanimously. Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he had nineteen (19) calls, six (6) animals impounded, three (3) animals returned to owners. Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman Viles to approve the bills and claims. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Viles. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Frank Clark of the Mooresville Girls Softball league appeared before the Council requesting a parade for the opening of the girls softball league on Saturday, April 30, 1994 at 8:00 a.m. Mr. Clark has confirmed the parade route with Mooresville Police Chief Ditton. Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Edwards to approve a parade for the Mooresville Girls Softball league on Saturday, April 30, 1994 at 8:00 a.m. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. David Rihm of the St. Thomas More Knights of Columbus appeared before the Council requesting to hold a roadblock on Saturday, May 7, 1994 for their annual Tootsie Roll Drive. Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman Heald to allow the St. Thomas More Knights of Columbus to hold a roadblock on Satnrday, May 7, 1994. Motion carried unanimously.
