March 1, 1994 The Mooresville Town Council were to hold their regular scheduled meeting on Tuesday, March 1, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Council members present were Steve Edwards and Steve Ballard. Members absent were Pat Overholser, Tim Viles and Dick Heald. A quorum was not present at the meeting; therefore, no business was conducted. The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held Tuesday, March 15, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. ~fesident ~/ ATTEST: 'Clerk-Treasurer ~ March 15, 1994 The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held Tuesday, March 15, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Council members present were Tim Viles, Steve Edwards, Dick Heald, Steve Ballard and Pat Overholser. No members were absent. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. Motion was made by Councilman Ballard, second by Councilman Viles to approve a roadblock for the Humane Society for May 14, 1994. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. John Swisher, 1235 Ironwood Drive and Mr. Brian Gray, 446 Roberson Blvd., appeared before the Council requesting decorative lighting for Roberson Woods subdivision. Mr. Swisher explained that the Roberson Woods Neighborhood Association will pay the difference between the cost of regular lighting and the cost of decorative lighting. Town attorney Tim Currens advised Mr. Swish~ of the necessity for the Town to have a contract with Roberson Woods Neighborhood Association in regard to the financial responsibility of the neighborhood association in this matter. The neighborhood association will work with the Town in regard to the legal papers necessary to accomplish the installation of decorative lighting in this subdivision. Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Ballard to permit a roadblock sponsored by ABATE for MS, on August 6, 1994. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Ballard to approve a parade for the Mooresville Boys Baseball league on April 23, 1994 at 9:00 a.m. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Ray Hatmaker of Victor Drive advised the Council that Victor Drive is in need of stone on the side of the street pavement. Street Superintendent Joe Beikman stated he would take care of this matter.
