256 <br /> <br /> March 20, 1995 <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session Monday, <br /> March 20, 1995 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Tim Viles, Pat Overholser, <br /> Andy Pygman, Bill Wright and Dick Heald. No members were absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> The following cemetery mowing bids were opened: <br /> <br /> Scott Bradley $675.00 per cemetery mowing <br /> $200.00 per bush hog <br /> <br /> Pitman Mowing $585.00 per cemetery mowing <br /> $200.00 per bush hog <br /> <br /> M & S lawn Care $600.00 per cemetery mowing <br /> $200.00 per bush hog <br /> <br /> The Council took the bids under advisement until the April 3, <br /> 1995 council meeting when they will award the contract. <br /> <br /> Brown Township Trustee Kaye Don Haught addressed the Council in <br /> regard to funding life-Star Ambulance service. Trustee Haught <br /> stated the following: "I am considering Contractual Agreements <br /> with government entities, whose citizens request emergency medical <br /> service from life-Star Ambulance in 1996. Will you also consider <br /> a Contractual Agreement with Brown Township for emergency medical <br /> service, from life-Star in 19967" <br /> <br /> Council President Heald appointed a committee of Councilman <br /> Wright and Fire Chief Brown to investigate the financial possibilities <br /> of ambulance service for the citizens of Mooresville. <br /> <br /> Mr. <br /> Bain, 26 W. South Street, Mooresville, appeared <br /> Marvin <br /> before the Council asking the Council to fix the sewer problems <br /> on West South Street. Mr. Bain informed the Council that his home <br /> has been permanently damaged due to sewer back-ups. <br /> <br /> Joe Beikman advised the Council that to alleviate the problem <br /> a new storm sewer needs to be installed. Mr. Beikman is investigating <br /> the situation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bain also addressed the problem of noise from car radio's <br /> at the McDonald's which is located at the corner of South Street and <br /> Indiana Street. Chief of Police Viles will investigate this situation. <br /> <br /> Town attorney Tim Currens advised the Council that John and <br /> Janette Ellis, 1000 Honeysuckle Court would like the Council to <br /> approve an address change due to 1000 being an address on Honeysuckle <br /> lane and causing much confusion. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he had eighteen (18) <br /> calls, seven (7) animals impounded and one (1) returned to the owner. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser, second by <br /> Councilman Viles to approve the bills and claims. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br /> Town Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman <br /> Wright, second by Councilman Viles. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council will meet in special session Monday, <br /> March 27, 1995 at the Mooresville Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. The next <br /> regular Mooresville Town Council meeting will be held Monday, <br /> April 3, 1995 at the Mooresville Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. , <br /> <br /> President <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> lerk-T~easurer-~ <br /> <br /> <br />
