245 <br /> <br /> January 16, 1995 <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met in ~'egular session Monday, <br />January 16, 1995 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Tim Viles, Pat Overholser, <br />Andy Pygman, Bill Wright and Dick Heald. No members were absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Council President Overholser advised the Council that the <br />Council would re-organize at this time. <br /> <br /> Councilman Viles nominated Councilman Heald for Council <br />President, Councilman Pygman second the nomination. <br />Nomination carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Councilman Wright nominated Councilman Viles for Council <br />Vice President, Councilman Pygman second the nomination. <br />Nomination carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> %here being no additional nominations for Council President <br />or Vice President, nominations were closed. Councilman Heald <br />and Councilman Viles were elected President and Vice President <br />of the Council by acclamation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tim Villiams, 1184 Westwood Drive, submitted an additional <br />bill for the sewer back up which occurred in his basement on <br />December 24, 1994. Mr. Williams was advised that this bill <br />will be submitted to the insurance company, just as the bills <br />previously submitted had been turned over to the insurance carrier. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser, second by <br />Councilman Viles to re-appoint Alan Kramer to the Board of Zoning <br />Appeals. <br /> <br /> President Heald re-appointed Bud Swisher to the Mooresville <br />Redevelopment Commission. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilwoman <br />Overholser to re-appoint David Kollmeyer, Norman Connell and <br />Glenn Barron to the Mooresville Redevelopment Commission. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> President Heald re-appointed Boyd Head and Kim Heald to the <br />Hospital Authority Board. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser, second by <br />Councilman Viles to re-appoint William Abbott, Tim Cummins and <br />Tim Bennett to the Plan Commission. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> President Heald re-appointed Dick Newcomer to the Economic <br />Development Commission. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser, second by <br /> Councilman Pygman to re-appoint Curt Wilcher to the Economic <br /> Development Commission. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> President Heald re-appointed Dave Pearson to the Park <br /> and Recreation Board. <br /> <br /> President Heald re-appointed Mitzie Forbes, Dave Pearson <br /> and Bill Colbert to the Mooresville Redevelopment Authority. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser, second by Council- <br />man Pygman to re-appoint Tim Viles, Town Marshall, Darrell Brown, <br />Fire Chief, William Abbott, Town Engineer and Joe Beikman, <br />Street Commissioner. Motion carried 4-0-1 with Councilman Viles <br />abstaining. <br /> <br /> <br />
