It would be necessary for
the Elliott's to install a lift station at an expense of
approximately $4,000.00 to enable them to take advantage of the
sanitary sewer system. Mr. lawson stated that the Elliott's
septic system has been inspected by the Morgan County Board of
Health and the county has certified that the septic system is in
good condition. Mrs. Elliott stated she would like to be on the
sanitary sewer system, but the expense of the lift station does
not make it feasible for the Elliott's to hook on to the system.
Mr. lawson requested that the Council exempt the Elliott's from
hooking on to the sanitary sewer system due to the extenuating
circumstances which he presented.
