Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Wright, second by Councilman Dolen to <br /> approve second reading of Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance #7, 1996. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Police Chief Tim Viles reported Moore Restoration is ready to begin <br /> repair work on the Church on the corner of South Indiana Street and <br /> East Harrison Street. They will need to close down the street at the <br /> alley and everyone will go one way East. This needs to be accomplished <br /> by Election Day, November 4, 1996, or move the repair to one week later. <br /> <br /> An Executive Session was set for Monday and Tuesday, October 28 and 29, <br /> 1996 at 6:00 P. M. for interviewing the five (5) applicants for Fire <br /> Chief. <br /> <br /> Town Council President Mark Mathis suggested the Council members be <br /> thinking of the possibility of moving the Town Council meetings to <br /> Tuesday nights at 7:00 P M. for the year 1997. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Wright to <br /> approve payment of the claims. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Council at this <br /> time, motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman <br /> Pygman to adjourn the meeting.
