Itl. <br />at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Council members present were: President Mark Mathis, Toby Dolcn, Bill Wright, Jim Henslcy, <br />and Andy Pygman. No council members were absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councilman Dolen to approve the mhmles <br /> of the March 3, 1998 meeting. Motion canied unanimously. <br /> <br /> Erin Fitch of rite Community Foundation explained to the 'town Comtcil about matcldng money <br /> gifts. In order to obtain a match the gift has to be permanent and has to be an endowed fund. The <br /> Council could make a pass-thru gift and keep some money back for a balance to begin an <br /> Endowment fund. This type of fund has no minimum and anyone can contribute to it. The <br /> Council will wait to see if the additional appropriation will pass the State Board of Tax <br /> Commissioners before deciding how to handle the ~noncy. <br /> <br /> <br />
