The state advised the board by letter that they will put a 4-Way stop <br /> sign, not a flashing light at Carlisle St. and State Road 267. The board <br /> instructed Town Attorney Tim Currens to advise the state that the board does <br /> not want a stop sign at this location. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald, second by Trustee Edwards to have <br /> Independent Appraisers do the yearly appraisal of town property. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Board President Mike Fiscus re-appointed Jim Forester to the Mooresville <br /> Park and Recreation Board for a four year term. <br /> <br /> The board decided to replace the trash cans in the downtown area due to the <br /> bad condition of the trash containers. <br /> <br /> EDC Director Randy Haymaker advised the board that the County Commissioners <br /> have agreed to enact the Barrett Law on property owners on Victor Drive to bring <br /> these properties up to town standards to enable annexation. Mr. Haymaker is <br /> planning a meeting with these property owners to discuss alternatives to <br /> enacting the Barrett Law. <br /> <br /> Mr. Haymaker also advised the board he met with the property owners of <br /> Boyd Heights Addition to discuss the possibility of running sewer lines to this area. <br /> <br /> The board was advised that the street department cleared three area's in <br /> the cemetery to assess the soil content in regard to rocks. No conclusion on <br /> this problem has been reached at this time. <br /> <br /> Fire Chief Jim Bruner advised the board that the department has hired <br /> Kevin Schultheis as a full time firefighter. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Forbes and second by Trustee Overholser to approve <br />the following Proposal and Agreement to Receive Public ~h~nds of Municipal <br />Corporations: Bank One, Plainfield, IN, First National Bank, Martinsville, IN, <br />Mooresville Savings Bank, FSB, Mooresville, IN, Citizens Bank, Mooresville, IN, <br />Morgan County Bank & Trust Company, Mooresville, IN. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Forbes and second by Trustee Edwards to <br /> deny <br />any responsibility for the accident which occured at the Mooresville High <br />School involving Vicki and Ronald Christ. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald and second by Trustee Overholser to allow <br />the bills and claims. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Board <br />of Trustees at this time motion was made by Trustee Edwards, second by <br />Trustee Overholser to adjourn.
