feet. I sort of estimated with a level rod. McDonald's sign is much higher than that, my level
rod is only 21 foot. This is Option B for in front of the store we would be asking approval for.
At the time we submitted this we didn't know what size sign we would be using so we went with
the extreme case and we will be using the 120 square foot sign which basically a large portion
of that is for the messages at the bottom which run 99C specials and things like that. Ross, is
this going to create any problems when they redo the intersection here? No, in fact, they're
keeping all that the same now. When we were at the Plan Commission we had discussed this
when we got a permit and they may be taking like 20 feet right here, but right in here there is
nothing really happening. In fact, if you've seen our widening out there it is really the lane that
they were going to extend on so I don't anticipate anything happening right there. If it is it is
minimal. I know when we got our permit they were talking about maybe 15 feet or something
like that but setting here like this we wouldn't be in a problem there. I haven't seen the plans
but I knew they were going to do something there. I went out and looked at them when they
were seeking public comment on the left turn lane or lack of a left turn lane from the eastbound
there and they are working on resolving that. I still have to get back with the Town Council and
talk to them about it. It's not everything I hoped for but it is better than the original plan. I
read the scoping report and there's some things in there I thought they should do over again.
We need to discuss the sign and that right now Mr. Parks has approval by the Plan Commission
a minor Plat but it has not been recorded or signed by the Planning Commission and at this time
it is one parcel. I just xeroxed that off of our Plat and it may stay that way and he has I believe
a year to record the Plat. Right now it is one parcel and if we would decide to record the Plat
we would have to make arrangements to get a lease on that or something along those lines. But
you are correct. What was shown there would be on 2 lots, but right now that is not the case.
