MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MINUTES <br />Wednesday, May 20, 1992 7:00 p.m. <br />Mooresville Town Hall <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met for their <br />regular scheduled meeting on Wednesday, May 20, 1992 at 7:00 p.m. <br />at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Board members present were Charles McGuire, Vern Kimmel, <br /> <br />Alan Kramer and Don Barry. Member Steve Oschman was absent. <br /> <br />Also present was the Board's attorney, Timothy C. Currens. <br /> <br /> Motion to approve the April 15, 1992 minutes was made by <br /> <br />Don Barry. A second was made by Alan Kramer. Motion passed 4 - 0. <br /> <br /> Attorney Ralph Foley came before the Mooresville Board of <br />Zoning Appeals representing Environmental Development Corporation <br />with a request for a variance for self storage units on State <br />Road 144. <br /> <br /> Mr. Foley passed out a copy of the area for the Zoning <br /> <br />Board members to review. <br /> <br /> Board member Alan Kramer asked Mr. Foley the size of the <br /> location which the self storage units would be built. <br /> <br /> Mr. Foley explained that the area was 1.217 acres. <br /> <br /> Mr. Crusenberry, 910 South Johnson Road, asked if a traffic <br /> study had been done in this area. <br /> <br /> Board president Charles McGuire explained that the main <br /> thing to focus on at this time was the self storage units. <br /> <br /> Mr. Norman Taylor, 920 Johnson Road, asked if this parcel <br /> was part of the eighty (80) acres that had been rezoned last year. <br /> <br /> <br />
