S <br /> .411) <br /> MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> January. 27, 2011 <br /> Minutes <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at 6 <br /> p.m. The meting was held at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Members of the commission present were: Chairman Mike Young, Bill Colbert,Darrell <br /> Brown,Jeff Dieterlen, and Ann Whaley. Members Brian Anderson and Beverly Viles <br /> arrived to the meeting late following the business portion of the meeting. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6 p.m. Member Bill Colbert made a motion to accept <br /> the minutes as presented. Member Jeff Dieterlen seconded the motion. The motion passed <br /> 6-0. <br /> The board then held its reorganization meetings. <br /> Member Ann Whaley made a motion for Mike Young to be board Chairman. Member <br /> Darrell Brown seconded the motion. The motion passed 6-0. <br /> Member Darrell Brown made a motion for Ann.Whaley to be Vice-Chairman. Member <br /> Bill Colbert seconded the motion. The motion passed 6-0. <br /> Member Ann Whaley made a motion for Darrell Brown to be board Secretary. Member <br /> Jeff Dieterlen seconded the motion. The motion passed 6-0. <br /> Chairman Mike Young gave the board a brief update on the Board of Zoning Appeals <br /> meeting. <br /> Members did discuss increasing the penalties for those who violate ordinances or fail to <br /> comply with ordinances. This matter will be discussed further at a later meeting. <br /> Member Brian Anderson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Member Ann Whaley <br /> seconded the motion.
