MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met at its regularly scheduled <br />meeting on Wednesday, February 19, 1986, at the Mooresville Town Hall. Present <br />were Board Members Wendell Thaler, Tilford Bailey, Steve Oschman, Donald Barry, <br />and Warren Franklin. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Steve Oschman <br />who determined that there was a quorum present. The Board's Attorney, Timothy C. <br />Currens, was also present. The Board then proceeded to approve the minutes of <br />the prior meeting. <br /> <br /> The first item on the agenda was a petition of Stephen A. Edwards and Cheryl <br />L. Edwards, 292 W. Harrison Street, and Dorethea EdwardS, 292 W. Harrison Street, <br />Mooresville, Indiana. The petition requested a variance to extend the business <br />building to the south on and over the existing property line between lots <br />numbered 11 and 12. (2) To extend the building in such a manner to have a <br />portion of a second principal building on lot numbered 12. (3) A variance <br />from the set-back line on Harrison Avenue where it runs north and south, so <br />as to extend the existing building to the west. (4) A variance with reference <br />to north and south side set-back lines in order to extend the existing walls <br />of the existing building to the west towards Harrison Avenue as said set-back <br />lines would be affected with reference to the real estate located north of lot <br />number 11 as it would affect the extension of this building on and across lot <br />number 12 to the south. Steve Edwards and Cheryl Edwards were present in person <br />and by counsel, David Lawson. Attorney Lawson explained the business operation <br />of Ace Tool and explained the respective variances as they apply to the proposed <br />expansion of the Ace Tool structure, providing a drawing of the proposed construction. <br />Attorney Lawson advised that this land is already zoned General Business and due <br />to the location of the building as to lots 11 and 12 and the residence of Dorothea <br />Edwards that the respective lots would have to sell as a unit.
