MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, APRIL 5, 2018 6:OOpm <br />Members present: Harold Gutzwiller, Joe Beikman, Tim Corman and Don Stultz. School board appointee <br />Larry Moore was present. Attorney Adam Steuerwald was present. Project Manager Chelsey Manns <br />was present. <br />Southbridge Offers: No offers were provided. <br />Minutes: Minutes from the March I" executive and public sessions were provided. Commissioner <br />Beikman made the motion to approve the minutes as presented. Commissioner Stultz seconded the <br />motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Financials: Financials were previously emailed from the Clerk -Treasurer's office. Commissioner Corman <br />made the motion to approve the financials as presented. Commissioner Beikman seconded the motion, <br />which carried 4-0 <br />Public Comment: Shane Williams of 6 West Main presented a Letter of Intent (LOI) and resume for the <br />purchase of Southbridge Crossing. Commissioner Gutzwiller took the LO1 under advisement. <br />Southbridge Crossing: Manns provided a copy of the roof assessment previously approved by the RDC. <br />The report states that a suggested roof maintenance budget for the current year be $2,000. It is <br />suggested that sections 4 and 5 of the roof be replaced. <br />Commissioner Corman shared that he and Commissioner Boyd along with Manns interviewed firms <br />interested in representing the RDC as commercial brokers for the sale of Southbridge Crossing. Corman <br />mad the motion to ask Colliers International for an agreement in which they would represent the RDC in <br />the sale of Southbridge. The Motion was seconded by Commissioner Stultz, which carried 4-0. <br />Gateway Project Update: <br />North Gateway: Per Manns, she is working directly with Director of Public Works Dave Moore on <br />gateway lighting issues. <br />Bicentennial Park: Manns presented the Commission with placement of 'Bicentennial Park' as well as <br />'Citizens Bank Community Pavilion' on the building at Bicentennial Park. The RDC requested Manns get <br />additional information as to the costs of fabrication and installation. <br />Old Business: Manns stated Meade Electric has completed the work for the pole removal. <br />Manns presented the votes for Street Banners, in which Option I was the obvious winner of the public <br />vote. Commissioner Beikman made the motion to move forward with Option I as the public voted. <br />Commissioner Corman seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />
