Plan Commission Minutes Thursday April 26th, 2018 Members Present: Tammy VanHook, Perry King, Joe Beikman, David Moore, Dennis Chambers, Mike Young, Jeff Dieterlen attorney Mel Daniel. Robert Alumbaugh was absent. Mike Young called the meeting to order and requested a motion for the previous minutes, Petry King made a motion to accept the previous minutes as presented, Joe Beikman seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. The first item on the agenda is a minor plat at 5170 E. Neitzel Rd., presented by John Larrison of Holloway Engineering on behalf of Charlotte Money. Mr. Lamson stated the request is to create two lots; lot 1 @ 8.445 acres includes the home and small barn lot 2 @ 10.573 acres includes the larger barn. Mr. Lamson also stated that he had met with the highway department regarding the driveway permit and that the drainage pipe had recently been updated. Mike Young called for questions when none were asked he called for a motion; Jeff Dieterlen made a motion to approve, Dennis Chambers seconded the motion and the motion passed 7-0. Next item on the agenda is request for favorable recommendation on a rezone at Western and Landersdale Roads: the request is to go from AG to PUD -E for school purposes. Jeff Banning of Banning Engineering stated on behalf of the School Corporation that the Mooresville School Corp would like to purchase this property while it is available for future school uses, any uses would come back before the Commission. Jeff Dieterlen confirmed with Mr. Banning that only the PUD -E was being sought at this time while Dennis Chambers confirmed with member Joe Beikman that a transportation garage is an allowable use under this zoning.
