Plan Commission Minutes <br />Thursday July 26`h, 2018 <br />Members present: Tammy VanHook, David Moore, Dennis Chambers, Mike <br />Young, Joe Beikman, Robert Alumbaugh, Perry King, and attorney Mel <br />Daniel. Jeff Dieterlen was unable to attend. <br />Mike Young called the meeting to order and asked if there was a motion on <br />the previous minutes. Dennis Chambers made a motion to accept the <br />minutes as presented, Joe Beikman seconded the motion and the motion <br />passed 7-0. <br />Jeff Banning of Banning Engineering presented the replat and <br />developmental PUD plans for combining lots 19 and 20 at Hancel Parkway <br />into one lot. Dennis Chambers confirmed that any and all concerns were <br />addressed at tech review, Mike Young then confirmed that building <br />inspector Tim Bennet had no questions or concerns. When there were no <br />questions from the audience Joe Beikman made a motion to accept the <br />request, David Moore seconded the motion and the motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />The next item on the agenda is a rezone request presented by Ross Holloway <br />of Holloway Engineering. Ross presented the request on behalf of Roger and <br />Debbie Brown at E. Orchard Rd. Mr. and Mrs. Brown would like to rezone <br />undeveloped agricultural land to allow mini warehouses and or light <br />manufacturing on the property. Ross Holloway discussed the history of the <br />property and then addressed both questions and concerns brought up at the <br />tech review; drainage, buffering, and access to the property from 144. Joe <br />Beikman expressed concerns of encroachment, while Dave Moore explained <br />that there are no records of building inspections completed on the current <br />building(s) on the property. During audience questions Betty Perry, manager <br />of Ashbury Ridge questioned buffering between the properties; Ross <br />Holloway stated that distance could be the buffer. When no further questions <br />were asked Mike Young called for a motion. Once Dennis Chambers had <br />confirmed all tech review concerns had been addressed he made a motion to <br />recommend the rezone to the Town Council the motion was seconded and <br />passed 5-0, with bot Joe Beikman and David Moore abstaining. <br />The Keswick Estates discussion has been removed from the agenda. <br />
