MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES ulq� THURSDAY, JANUARY 3,6:00pm Members present: Harold Gutzwiller, Bill Boyd, Dustin Stanley and Don Stultz. School representative Dr. Larry Moore was present. Redevelopment Commission Attorney Thomas Pitman was present. Project Manager Chelsey Manns was present. Commissioner Gutzwiller acknowledged that all members were sworn in prior to the Executive Session. A motion was made by Commissioner Stultz and seconded by Commissioner Boyd to approve the executive session and public meeting minutes from December 6th. The motion carried 3-0-1 (Commissioner Stanley abstaining) Financials were emailed out prior to the meeting by the Clerk -Treasurer. Commissioner Boyd made the motion to approve the financials as presented. Commissioner Stultz seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. Public Comment: No public Comment. Reorganization: Commissioner Gutzwiller asked for recommendations for President, Vice President and Secretary positions. Commissioner Boyd made the motion to appoint Commissioner Gutzwiller President. Commissioner Stultz seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. Commissioner Stultz made the motion to appoint Commissioner Boyd Vice President. Commissioner Stanley second the motion, which carried 4-0. Commissioner Boyd made the motion to appoint Commissioner Stultz Secretary. Commissioner Stanley seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. Southbridge Crossing: Manns noted that Roscoe's Taco's has closed its doors. The Commission is working with legal counsel as there is still time remaining on that lease. Manns noted they are still working towards an offer on Southbridge. Gateway Project Update: Bicentennial Park: Manns shared the lights around the flame are operational. They are still awaiting the replacement gaskets which will be replaced once they come in. She also noted that because of the fear of the gaskets failing, the contractor has requested on occasion that we turn the lights off completely, which the Town has down in order to preserve the lights. Manns asked Commissioner Stanley if the Town has made a decision on whether or not to include new sanitary sewer along the High Street project. He said they were still awaiting a final decision. Once that decision is made, the plans will be updated and provided to the RDC. INDOT officials believe the next public meeting will be held in February. As soon as we have a date for that, it will be circulated via social media. Old Business: Property Acquisition Update: The Commission did close on the purchase of the Pauley Property on December 315t. As a part of the ALTA Survey, Change Order 3 was presented from Banning
