MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />MINUTES ulq� <br />THURSDAY, JANUARY 3,6:00pm <br />Members present: Harold Gutzwiller, Bill Boyd, Dustin Stanley and Don Stultz. School representative Dr. <br />Larry Moore was present. Redevelopment Commission Attorney Thomas Pitman was present. Project <br />Manager Chelsey Manns was present. <br />Commissioner Gutzwiller acknowledged that all members were sworn in prior to the Executive Session. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Stultz and seconded by Commissioner Boyd to approve the <br />executive session and public meeting minutes from December 6th. The motion carried 3-0-1 <br />(Commissioner Stanley abstaining) <br />Financials were emailed out prior to the meeting by the Clerk -Treasurer. Commissioner Boyd made the <br />motion to approve the financials as presented. Commissioner Stultz seconded the motion, which <br />carried 4-0. <br />Public Comment: No public Comment. <br />Reorganization: Commissioner Gutzwiller asked for recommendations for President, Vice President and <br />Secretary positions. Commissioner Boyd made the motion to appoint Commissioner Gutzwiller <br />President. Commissioner Stultz seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. Commissioner Stultz made the <br />motion to appoint Commissioner Boyd Vice President. Commissioner Stanley second the motion, which <br />carried 4-0. Commissioner Boyd made the motion to appoint Commissioner Stultz Secretary. <br />Commissioner Stanley seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Southbridge Crossing: Manns noted that Roscoe's Taco's has closed its doors. The Commission is <br />working with legal counsel as there is still time remaining on that lease. <br />Manns noted they are still working towards an offer on Southbridge. <br />Gateway Project Update: <br />Bicentennial Park: Manns shared the lights around the flame are operational. They are still awaiting the <br />replacement gaskets which will be replaced once they come in. She also noted that because of the fear <br />of the gaskets failing, the contractor has requested on occasion that we turn the lights off completely, <br />which the Town has down in order to preserve the lights. <br />Manns asked Commissioner Stanley if the Town has made a decision on whether or not to include new <br />sanitary sewer along the High Street project. He said they were still awaiting a final decision. Once that <br />decision is made, the plans will be updated and provided to the RDC. INDOT officials believe the next <br />public meeting will be held in February. As soon as we have a date for that, it will be circulated via social <br />media. <br />Old Business: Property Acquisition Update: The Commission did close on the purchase of the Pauley <br />Property on December 315t. As a part of the ALTA Survey, Change Order 3 was presented from Banning <br />
