May 21, 2019 <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 6:30 PM at the <br />Mooresville Government Center. <br />Council members present: Tom Warthen, Dustin Stanley, and David Rogers. Mark Mathis and Jessica <br />Hester were absent. Town Attorney Mel Daniel was present. <br />Tom Warthen gave the prayer. <br />A motion was made Councilman Rogers with a second by Councilman Warthen to approve Minutes of <br />May 71h meeting. Vote was 2-1, 1 abstention Dustin Stanley. Not enough votes to pass so motion died. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Stanley with a second by Councilman Warthen to table April 16th and <br />May 7th minutes to next Town Council meeting. Vote was 3-0 to approve. <br />New Business: <br />CF -1's: <br />Cornerstone: Resolution 9, 2007 ---estimated employees was 17 now have 32 employees, Real property <br />estimated at $3, 366 million now is $4 million. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Rogers with a second by Councilman Stanley to approve the CF -1 for <br />Cornerstone. Motion carried 3-0. <br />Overton Industries: Resolution 6, 2018---55 employees, personal property went estimated $94,000 and <br />actual $94,153. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Rogers with a second by Councilman Stanley to approve the CF -1. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br />Angermeier & Wathen LLC (Capital Adhesives): Resolution 12, 2011, estimated employees was 21 actual <br />is 45. Real Property estimated at $550,000 was actually $1, 671,000. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Stanley with a second by Councilman Rogers to approve the CF -1. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br />Line], a Division of Mestek: Resolution 2, 2014, estimated jobs were 83 actual 99. Real Property <br />estimated at $500,000 actually is $586,080. A motion was made by Councilman Rogers with a second by <br />Councilman Stanley to approve the CF -1. Motion carried 3-0. <br />Linel- Personal property -estimated at $825,000 actual is $824,132. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Stanley with a second by Councilman Rogers to approve the CF -1. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br />Line[: Resolution 11, 2016- Real property estimated at $240,000 actual $240,000. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Rogers with a second by Councilman Stanley to approve the CF -1. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br />PacMore: Resolution 1, 2012 --estimate of employees was 93, actual is 223. Rea] property 3mi]lion <br />dollars, actual $3,875.12. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Rogers with a second by Councilman Stanley to approve the CF -1. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br />PacMore: Resolution 15, 2015 ---jobs estimated 127 actual 223, Real property estimated at $1,506,860 <br />actual is $1,092,375 the project was bid too high. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Rogers with a second by Councilman Stanley to approve the CF -1. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br />Town Council President Warthen commented: All of these companies made an investment in <br />Mooresville. The are good Community partners. <br />Christine Zike, Bethel Church, appeared before the council talking about a project called Spread <br />Awareness of Suicide. Timeline of Events <br />
