MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES <br />Thursday, <br />Thursday, May 2, 2024 6:00pm <br />Mooresville Government Center <br />Commission Members present: Brian Culp, Greg Swinney, Dana Heidenreich and Ryan Taylor were <br />present. Commissioner Erin Pipkin and School representative Dr. Jake Allen were absent. Project <br />Manager Chelsey Manns and Attorney Adam Steuerwald were present. <br />Commissioner Taylor called the meeting to order and followed with an invocation. <br />Annual Presentation to Underlying Units: Sam Schrader of Baker Tilly provided the annual presentation <br />to the underlying taxing units <br />Minutes: Minutes were presented from the April 4, 2024 executive session and public meeting. <br />Commissioner Heidenreich made the motion to approve the executive session minutes as presented. <br />Commissioner Culp seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. Commissioner Culp made the motion to <br />approve the public meeting minutes. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 4- <br />0. <br />Financials: Financials were provided by the Clerk -Treasurer's office via email. Commissioner Culp made <br />the motion to approve the financials as presented. Commissioner Swinney seconded the motion, which <br />carried 4-0. <br />New Business: No new business. <br />Ongoing Business <br />Mooresville Business Center Update: Manns shared she requested three quotes from Parks Outdoor, <br />Mike Hardin and Hill Top Farms to bushhog the remaining ground at the business center. Only one <br />quote was received from Mike Hardin in the amount of $5,800 for four mowings in the calendar yar. <br />Commissioner Culp made the motion to award the bushhogging contract to Mike Hardin in the amount <br />of $5,800 for the year. Commissioner Swinney seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Manns shared that despite her efforts, a Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan was required by INDOT for <br />final review before a permit would be issued for the signal at SR67 and Merriman Road. Traffic <br />Engineering provided the MOT as approved last month for $3,500. The entire plan set including the <br />MOT was resubmitted to INDOT on April 26`h for complete review. <br />
