shared the links to the conceptual renderings are available on the Town's website with feedback forms <br />through July 19`h <br />Parks: Superintendent of Parks Phil Cornelius presented an updated conceptual plans with financials for <br />the Pioneer Park upgrades. He shared the park board decided to move forward with Phase 2 totaling <br />$4,752,723. That includes $3,150,000 from the Commission, a $250,000 READI Grant and $900,000 in <br />reserves from the Parks department. They have applied for the Land and Water Conservation Grant so <br />they are waiting on that. Part of the modifications to the original plan to bring the budget down was <br />removing the new basketball hoops and the playground. <br />Dr. Allen asked how firm the numbers are and Cornelius shared they are 90% firm and should have hard <br />costs by the end of July. More information will be forthcoming <br />Legal/Managerial Update: No legal update. <br />Manns shared she did go door-to-door with invitation to the public event for the downtown businesses <br />and the street department summer help went door-to-door in the residential area. She also noted she's <br />been assisting Steve Harris with his READI grant paperwork on behalf of the Town. <br />Review of Claims: The claims were presented in the amount of $496,071.66. Commissioner Culp made <br />the motion to approve the claims as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which <br />carried 4-0. <br />For the Good of the Order: No update. <br />The next meeting will be at 6:OOPM Thursday, August 1, 2024. <br />Commissioner Culp made the motion to adjourn.
