<br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at the Town Hall on May <br />25, 1989 at 7:30 P.M. Present were Board members William Abbott, <br />Stephen Edwards, Vernon Kimmel, Robert Tucker, and Signe <br />Nicholson. Present also was the Board's attorney, Timothy C. <br /> <br />Currens, Building Inspector, Joseph Beikman, and Economic Develop- <br /> <br />ment Director, Randy Haymaker. <br /> <br />Vice Chairman Nicholson determined that there was quorum <br /> <br />present and proceeded to open the meeting and approve the minutes <br /> <br />of the prior meeting. <br />The first item on the agenda was a rezonlng request of two <br />(2) acres off of a ten (10) acre tract located at 9681 West County <br />Line Road, Camby, Indiana. The request was by Don and Karen <br /> <br />Hancock. Mrs. Hancock was present to present the information <br />---- <br />concerning the rezoning. In particular, she stated that the <br /> <br />purpose was to run a gymnastics business and retail shop for <br /> <br />gymnastics apparel which would be located in an open pole type <br />barn with a size of 60 x 90 to 100 feet. A drawing showing the <br />dimensions of the property were reviewed by the board. Mrs. <br /> <br />Hancock disclosed other business uses in the area consisting of <br /> <br />Allison's A & A Transmission, and a farming operation across the <br /> <br />road in Hendricks County. Board member Steve Edwards had a ques- <br /> <br />tion concerning the classification of General Business for this <br /> <br />use. The Board's attorney stated that he felt it would fall under <br />a dance studio type of use along with the retail apparel, each of <br />which are General Business uses.
