<br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, AUGUST 24, 2000, 7:00 P. M. <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on Thursday, August 24, 2000, at 7:00 <br />P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Plan Commission members present were: Joel Beebe, Charles McGuire, Andy Pygman, Jim <br />Bruner, John Ehrhart, and Mike Young. Plan commission members absent were: Tim Bennett, <br />and Robert Williamson. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Pygman, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to approve <br />minutes of July 27, 2000 meeting. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />First on the agenda was 0 & R Properties for a rezone- no one was present to discuss the request. <br />This was tabled to September 28, 2000 meeting. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway presented the Hankins three lot minor plat request located at 518 Keys Road. <br />This was tabled from July meeting. Mr. Holloway reported a variance was obtained on 9-16-98 <br />for the house on lot #2. The Grubbs parcel had not been divided out as a violation of <br />Mooresville zoning ordinance. Deeds recorded were: Upton to Grubbs -1988-1.4 acres and <br />Record to Upton-1970-1.4 acres. The little house was existing on Lot 1 prior to 1988. Mr. <br />Holloway said that in April or May of 2000 a variance was received on Lot 1 and 3 for less than <br />one acre for septic. He told the commission their goal was to put each of existing houses on <br />their own lot-not all the houses on one lot. Charlie Carmichael of 1689 Orchard Road spoke <br />against the minor plat saying this was making a subdivision. Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Bruner, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to approve request for minor plat based <br />upon fact all variances have been submitted and approved. Motion carried 5-1 with <br />Commissioner McGuire opposed. <br /> <br />President Joel Beebe and Secretary Andy Pygman signed both the Hankins plat and the Cash <br />plat. <br /> <br />Next, Foley & Foley requested to amend petition for a rezone from agriculture to B-2 for Dr. <br />Reyman's veterinary office located on St. Rd. 144. A publisher's notice was presented for the <br />amendment. They will keep the shed in back of house and add a fenced area in back. The drive <br />will be paved and a paved area of30' X 150' will be used for parking following requirements for <br />B-2. Ross Holloway spoke in favor of rezone stating he lived in the area and Dr. Reyman was <br />his veterinarian. Motion was made by Commissioner Young, second by Commissioner McGuire <br />to approve rezone to B-2. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Mrs. Mizera, 66 Magnetic Acres, a neighbor to Mrs. Hauser, brought pictures in to the Plan <br />Commission which dated four consecutive days in which Mr. Hauser's pool was uncovered. <br />Commissioner McGuire reported that he and Commissioner Pygman had been out to Mrs. <br />
