<br />~ <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, JULY 28, 2000, 7:00 P. M. <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, July 28, 2000, at 7:00 P. M. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Commission members present were: President Joel Beebe, Andy Pygman, Jim Bruner, Tim <br />Bennett, Charles McGuire, Robert Williamson, John Ehrhart, and Mike Young. No members <br />were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. There is currently one vacant <br />unappointed seat on the commission. <br /> <br />First on the agenda, Ross Holloway of Holloway & Associates presented a request for a three lot <br />minor plat at 518 Keys Road owned by Michael Hankins. There are three existing homes on the <br />property. A variance was granted April 23, 2000, for two homes on lots of less than required <br />size. Hill water services the property. Septic permits and green cards were in file. The owners <br />address had been added to the original plat. Motion was made by Commissioner Bruner, second <br />by Commissioner Pygman to continue this request to the August meeting to allow for Mr. <br />Holloway to acquire date of division of the lot for Grubbs, and a variance date for construction <br />of house on lot # 1. Motion carried 8-0. No re-advertising required. <br /> <br />0& R Properties request for a rezone from R- 1 to R-2 at 436 E. Carlisle Street, tabled from <br />June meeting was not heard due to the fact no one showed to present the request. <br /> <br />Next, Alan Kramer presented a request for a two lot minor replat of 4.4 acres located in <br />Huebner's Mini Farms subdivision on Gasburg Road owned by Gordon Grindstaff. Septic <br />permits and green cards were in folder. Lot # 1 has an existing house and Lot #2 has been <br />improved with a pole barn and driveway. The Grindstaffs intend to build a second home on the <br />back of Lot #2. At present the whole parcel is Lot #3. There are no covenants or restrictions. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner Bennett to accept <br />request for Minor Plat as presented. Motion carried 8-0. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway of Holloway & Associates presented a re-plat approval on five acres owned by <br />Greg Cash, located on Keller Hill road. This re-plat is creating one lot of four acres off Keller <br />Hill Road. Soils suitable for septic, but they need site evaluation forms from Morgan County <br />Board of Health. Hill water is available. Terry Hicks residing at 894 Keller Hill Road asked if a <br />trailer could be put on this lot. This property is zoned agriculture, so the commission answered <br />with" any housing that meets Town of Mooresville zoning. Motion was made by Commissioner <br />McGuire, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to approve replat conti gent upon driveway permit <br />copy and septic permit and a variance for or demolition of the shed on Lot 2. Motion carried 8- <br />O. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway presented Ewing Properties change in PUD located on Landersdale Road. A <br />clubhouse 32 X 48, 1,536 square feet plus a 16 X 32 patio which could be used for shuffleboard, <br /> <br />"- <br />
