<br />PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, AUGUST 26, 1999 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, August 26, 1999, at 7:00 P. M. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Plan Commission members present were: President Joel Beebe, Andy Pygman, Charles <br />McGuire, Tim Bennett, Alan Marshall, John Ehrhart, and Mike Young. Bill Abbott was absent. <br />Town Attorney Tim Currens was present. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Pygman, second by Commissioner McGuire to approve <br />minutes of July 22, 1999 meeting. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />First on the agenda, Attorney Ralph Foley presented Cedar Run Ltd. final plat approval on the <br />Missions at Heartland Crossing, Section III. Dale Kuntz, the engineer for the project, told the <br />Commission there would be 75 lots - 60 feet in width and greater with sewer, curbs, streets <br />paved, and Tri-County water. Motion was made by Commissioner McGuire, second by <br />Commissioner Young to approve Final Plat with correction on spelling and secretary's name, <br />finding the Plat to be in compliance. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Next, Dale Kuntz, explained the preliminary plat for the CommonslLegends. The original plan <br />was approved by the County. Amenities are swimming pool, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, <br />children's playground area, pond and walkway. 4.4 lots per acre and overall density 2.2 lots per <br />acre. Building Inspector, Joe Beikman told the Commission he did not want houses to cover <br />over 30 % of lot. Motion was made by Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner <br />Bennett to approve preliminary plat for Legends/Commons, but need wording on maximum lot <br />coverage and side setbacks recorded on Plat. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Next, John Setty presented Casey's General Store Minor Plat. This was tabled from July <br />meeting. The Technical Committee said everything was in order- description of Lot #2 has been <br />added. Motion was made by Commissioner Young, second by Commissioner Pygman to <br />approve minor plat-it meets plan commission's findings- as presented. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway of Holloway & Associates presented preliminary plat for Morgan's Hideaway. <br />DeWayne O'Neal represented Carol AndersonIWolfe property. Frank Hogan represented <br />remonstrators from surrounding area. He said he was contacted three days ago and asked the <br />Plan Commission if they felt comfortable going ahead and deciding tonight or could a sight <br />inspection be held and this issue tabled to next meeting. Mr. O'Neal told the Commission a <br />second entrance had been acquired and he wanted to proceed. The Plan Commission agreed. <br /> <br />Mr. O'Neal requested April 22,1997 minutes and Mooresville Ordinance Book be incorporated <br />with tonight's minutes. Ross Holloway handed out additional drawings to enter into record that <br />reflect Technical Review Committee's comments plus a packet addressing comments and <br />general platting requirements. Commissioner McGuire asked who owned C & M Utility. <br />
