, MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 1999,7:00 P. M. The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, March 25, 1999 at 7:00 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Commission members present were: President Joel Beebe, Charles McGuire, Alan Marshall, Andy Pygman, John Ehrhart, and Mike Young. Commissioners' Kimmel, Abbott, and Bennett were absent. Town Attorney Tim Currens was present. Motion was made by Commissioner Ehrhart, second by Commissioner Marshall to approve the meetings of the February meeting with two exceptions; change from a motion made to a request made to temporarily appoint Mike Young to the Tech committee in the absence of Bill Abbott, and delete motion was seconded and carried unanimously on page 3 for adjournment. Motion carried 6-0. President Beebe stated there was a request for a continuance on the Wolfe Preliminary Plat Approval. Speaking for the resident's group was attorney, Mr. Frank Hogan. He informed the Commission he was just recently hired and had not had ample time to gather the facts. Attorney O'Neal speaking for Carol Anderson involved with the Wolfe property said Ms. Anderson approached him just this week and she wants the Plan Commission to go ahead tonight and discuss the preliminary plat approval because the delay is causing her to lose money. Commissioner McGuire told the Commission there were eight items on the Tech Review Committee list that need addressed; width to depth ratio, letter from county approving access as drawn and acceptance of maintenance, source of title, street names, plans & specifications for improvements, certification of deed of dedication for public street, sewer permits and all easements required, and water supply to be used. Attorney Hogan requested the Commission to decline Attorney O'Neal's request to go ahead tonight with hearing. After some discussion, motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, second by Commissioner Young to grant a continuance. Motion carried 6-0. Ross Holloway of Holloway & Assoc. addressed the Commission concerning the Bodell rezone of property on Highway 67. This had been withdrawn and re-advertised for March 25, 1999 meeting. Mr. Holloway explained the surrounding properties were: Charmil Res. Addn, Willwood Res. Addn., Morningside Res. Addn. , and P. Nicholson. He also stated across the Highway 67 was 1-2 (Woods Wire), B-3 (a field and Mooresville Bowling Center), and 1-2 (Swinney Bros.). Farther south was zoned PUD-I. The request is for forty acres bordering Highway 67 to be zoned Industrial (unspecified) and to the North a lighter Industrial use with 100 feet of buffering including a wooded area. The Railroad bisects the parcel North and South and a 500 or 100 year flood plain is east of the Railroad. They propose a PUD-1 for the entire area. Holloway held a meeting with residents involved on February 11th to try to get comments. ......./ The residents stated they did not want this rezone period. Mr. Holloway decided to add
