<br />'--' <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, JULY 23, 1998 7:00PM <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on Thursday, July 23, 1998, at 7:00 P. <br />M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Commission members present were: William Abbott, Vern Kimmel, Steve Campbell, Mike <br />Young, John Ehrhart, and Andy Pygman. Members absent were: Charles McGuire, Joel Beebe, <br />and Tim Bennett. <br /> <br />First discussed was the Krivoshia property on Highway 67 requesting to be continued to the <br />August meeting. <br /> <br />Next, Holloway & Associates presented the Merriman property rezone from Agr. to 1-3 located <br />on the corner of Merriman Road and Highway 67. This parcel consists of 159 acres. The <br />following people spoke opposed to this rezone: Stan Butrurn, William Johnson, Jim Chesser, <br />Ron Hart, Gene Pauley, Mr. Irvin, and Jerry Woods. After much discussion, a motion was made <br />by Commissioner Young, second by Commissioner Kimmel to recommend to the Town Council <br />to deny this property to be rezoned from Agriculture to 1-3. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />""- <br /> <br />The Yeager Weliever minor plat and rezone was presented next by Holloway & Associates. <br />Weliever had purchased 1.25 acre from Wilcher and 3.75 acres from Yeager to make a 5 acre <br />total parcel located on Highway 67. Motion was made by Commissioner Kimmel, second by <br />Commissioner Campbell to approve the minor plat. Motion carried 6-0. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Campbell, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to recommend <br />to the Town Council to rezone this property from Agric. to I-I. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Holloway & Assoc. presented Charles O'Neal's 2 lot minor plat for property located at 267 East <br />Main Street. Mr. O'Neal has ran a tax business out of his home and wishes to separate and put <br />the business in an existing garage on the back of property. Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Campbell, second by Commissioner Kimmel to approve the Minor Plat into Lots I & 2 subject <br />to a variance being obtained for Lot size. Vote was 2-3, Commissioner's Campbell and Abbott <br />for and Commissioner's Young, Ehrhart, and Kimmel opposed, with one abstension, <br />Commissioner Pygman. <br />Finding of Fact was the minor Plat couldn't meet Ordinance requirements. Commissioner <br />Kimmel suggested a Variance was obtained first from the Board of Zoning Appeals and this <br />Minor Plat be tabled to the September meeting. <br /> <br />Holloway & Assoc. presented R-J Associates- Ashbury Park located on Highway l44--amending <br />a Mobile Home Plan to add 16 new sites. Building Inspector Joe Beikman stated he wanted <br />better plans for the TECH meeting, this item was tabled to the August meeting. No new notices <br />needed. <br /> <br />""- <br /> <br />Next, Holloway & Assoc. presented Town Center 4--additional 3 lots. PUD Comm. Lots 4A, <br />
