<br />"'----' <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />May 28, 19987:00 P.M. <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on Thursday, May 28, 1998 <br />at 7:00 P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Commission members present were: William Abbott, Vem Kimmel, Steve Campbell, <br />Mike Young, Charles McGuire, John Ehrhart and Andy Pygman. Town Attorney Tim <br />Currens was also present. Those absent from the meeting were Joel Beebe and Tim <br />Medsker. <br /> <br />Andy Pygman motioned to approve the minutes with the correction of adding Hopkins <br />to Arvin and Mary Hopkins in the third paragraph. The second came from Bill Abbott the <br />motion carried 7-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Theodore Gieseking representing Ray and Christine Blair in asking for a Rezone from <br />Agricultural to R-3, to allow for multi-family. The project would be for the elderly and or <br />disabled. There would be 42 to 48 units in the project. Mr Gieseking asked for postponement <br />~ ~ to better prepare. Bill Abbott motioned to Table the request until the June meeting, the <br />second was from Vern Kimmel. The vote was 7"{) with none opposed. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Ross Holloway came to the Board for The Mooresville Christian School in requesting <br />a rezone from Agricultural to RID. Mr Derek Smith explained the development of the <br />land. The selling of the land would help finance the expansion of the school. Several <br />questions were asked by Board Members, who would sell the lots, what would the square <br />footage of the homes be, and could there be a deed restriction. The request has been <br />withdrawn and willl return at another time. <br /> <br />John Droplick spoke for Chris Ferryman; 934 Bray Road with a Minor Plat for 2 lots. The <br />exciting farm house would be on one lot and a new home on the second. The driveway permit <br />has been obtained from the Indiana Highway Dept. Bill Abbott reported the findings of <br />the Tech Meeting. One person from the floor ask if it was the old Firkins home, Mr <br />Droplick answered that yes that it was the Firkins home and that the plat was for only <br />one home to be built on lot 2. With no further questions or concerns Bill Abbott motioned to <br />approve the Minor Plat a second came from Steve Campbell the motion carried 6-1 with <br />Andy Pygman voting no. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway representing Robert Fritch in requesting a rezone from Agric.. to R-3 at <br />3076 St. Road 144. The Front of the property would be kept in the Agric., zoning for the <br />garden shop, with improvements being made. Mr. Currens asked if the legal description <br />filed was for the whole for the entire parcel of land. Mr Holloway stated that it was only <br />for 7.03 acres. Mr Currens asked if it was by separate deed Mr Holloway responded that <br />it was not. After some discussion Mr. Holloway asked to come back at a later date. <br />Steve Campbell motioned to table for further information. Seconded by Vern Kimmel <br />
