<br />< - <br />0:,-' <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, AUGUST 24, 1995 - 7:30 P.M. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission <br />was held Thursday, August 24, 1995 at 7:30 p.m. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Plan Commission members present were Bill Abbott, <br />Charles McGuire, Vern Kimmel, Mike Young, Tim Bennett, Tim <br />Cummins, Art Raney and Joel Beebe. Plan Commission member <br />John Ehrhart was absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Charles McGuire, second by Tim <br />Cummins to approve the minutes of the July 27, 1995 Plan <br />Commission meeting. Motion carried 8 - O. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott, second by Charles <br />McGuire to not hear any additional comments on the petition <br />of Paula and Eric Crouch for a PUD - R located at Orchard <br />Road and Pennington Road due to the fact that all testimony <br />on this filing had been heard at previous Plan Commission <br />meetings. Motion carried 8 - O. <br /> <br />__ Motion was made by Charles McGuire, second by Art Raney <br />to deny the petition of Paula and Eric Crouch for a Planned <br />Unit Development - Residential for property located at <br />Orchard Road and Pennington Road based on the fact that this <br />PUD does not conform to the master land use plan of the Town <br />of Mooresville. Motion carried 5 - 3. Commission members <br />Bill Abbott, Tim Cummins and Tim Bennett cast the no votes. <br /> <br />Commission attorney Tim Currens advised those present <br />that the request for this rezone would go to the Mooresville <br />Town Council with a negative recommendation from the <br />Mooresville Plan Commission. <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Osborne of Hoosier Energy appeared before the <br />Mooresville Plan Commission requesting the Rawlings Minor <br />Plat be amended to include lot 3, a one acre lot which will <br />be used for an electrical power distribution substation. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott, second by Art Raney tø <br />approve the Rawlings Minor Plat Amendment to include lot 3, <br />a one acre lot to be used as an electrical distribution <br />substation contingent upon the plat containing the engineers <br />address, lot 1 labeled on the plat, a protective covenant <br />for driveway maintenance, removal of the street dedication <br />statement and the plat needs to be dated. Motion carried <br />8 - O. <br />
