<br />~ <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27, 1994 - 7:30 P.M. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session <br />Thursday, October 27, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville <br />Town Hall. <br /> <br />Members present were Joel Beebe, Bill Abbott, Charles <br />McGuire, Vern Kimmel, John Ehrhart, Tim Cummins, Tim Bennett <br />and Mike Young. Art Raney was absent. <br /> <br />The minutes of the September Plan Commission meeting <br />were approved as submitted. <br /> <br />The hearing scheduled for this date for a possible <br />zoning violation at 39 W. Main Street was rescheduled for the <br />Plan Commission meeting in November. <br /> <br />Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the November Plan <br />Commission meeting will be held Thursday, November 17, 1994 <br />at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />'--- <br /> <br />Mr. Ross Holloway appeared before the Commission to <br />petition for final plat approval for Rooker Run, Section II. <br /> <br />The technical review committee advised the Commission <br />that it would be necessary for an escrow account to be <br />implemented prior to recording the subdivision plat. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott, second by Tim Cummins to <br />approve the final plat for Rooker Run, Section II contingent <br />upon the execution of the escrow account. <br />Motion carried 8 - O. <br /> <br />Mr. Chris Badger appeared before the Plan Commission <br />requesting a rezone for the property owned by Grace <br />Missionary Church from Ag to R3. The property is part of <br />S/2 of T14N R2E Section 30, containing .6 acres located at <br />the southeast corner of State Road 67 and Allison Road. <br /> <br />The petitioners requested to amend their petition to ask <br />for a Rl zoning instead of R3. Commission attorney Tim <br />Currens advised the Plan Commission that since the amendment <br />was for a lesser zoning classification, the Commission could <br />act on the amended request. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Charles McGuire, second by Vern <br />Kimmel to recommend to the Mooresville Town Council a rezone <br />from Ag to Rl for the property owned by Grace Missionary <br />Church located at the southeast corner of State Road 67 and <br />Allison Road.
