<br />~ <br /> <br />'--- <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, JUNE 23, 1994 - 7:30 P.M. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br />the regular meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission <br />was held Thursday, June 23, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall, <br /> <br />Commission members Bill Abbott, Steve Edwards, Vern <br />Kimmel, Charles McGuire, Art Raney, Joel Beebe and Mike Young <br />were present. Commission member Tim Bennett was absent. <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Joel Beebe announced that Plan <br />(:ommis~=~ion Chairman Bob Tucker passed away today and <br />r'equested a moment of silence in his honor. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott, second by Art ~aney to <br />approve the minutes of the regular scheduled Plan Commission <br />IIIeetlng held Thursday, May 26, 1994, Motion car'ried 7 0, <br /> <br />Mr. Ross Holloway, representing Mooresville Partners, <br />appeared before the Plan Commission to petition for a change <br />of zoning for a part of the N/2 of Sec. 31 114N R2E, said <br />parcel i located south of Bridge Street and east of <br />'-- St.ate Road 67. <br /> <br />The petitioners requested a change of zoning or) thIS <br />parcel of land from AG to B3. <br /> <br />Sill Abbott informed the Commission that the technical <br />review committee met on Friday, June 17, 1994 and found this <br />filing to lack seven technical points at that time. Mr, Joe <br />Beikman, building inspector, stated all technical require- <br />ment.s have been met with the exeption of the street name <br />was not noted on the plat and the certification of downstream <br />flow has nc)t been filed. <br /> <br />r'(j~3, Ma.r'tha Thomp~-:;on, 1216 Dr'iftwood Cour'L dnd Mr', John <br />Willwood, 1290 CY'afton Court expressed corlcern on what kirld <br />of buffer would exist between the B3 zoning of this parcel <br />and the existing Rl zoning in this development. <br /> <br />Mr, Holloway stated that there is approximately 100 feet <br />from the east line of lot 3 to the existing Rl Zoning <br /> <br />Mr. Al Marshall, 511 Glastonberry Lane, inquIred as to <br />the access of these parcels. <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />Mr Holloway stated all access will be from Bridge <br />Street" <br />
