<br />r.. <br />f .. ." <br />~ -.. <br />r <br />, <br />i <br />r <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />,~ <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, MARCH 24, 1994 - 7:30 P.M. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br />The Mooresville Planning Commission met for their <br />regular scheduled meeting on Thursday, March 24, 1994 at 7:30 <br />p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Plan Commission members present were Bill Abbott, Steve <br />Edwards, Vern Kimmel, Charles McGuire, Art Raney, Mike Young <br />and Joel Beebe. Tim Bennett and Chairman Bob Tucker were <br />absent. Joel Beebe chaired the meeting in the absence of <br />Chairman Bob Tucker, <br /> <br />The minutes of the February 1994 Plan Commission were <br />approved as submitted. <br /> <br />Brown Township Trustee Kaye Don Haught appeared before <br />the Mooresville Plan Commission representing Brown Township <br />requesting a rezone from AG to B-2 for the Brown Township <br />property located on Old State Road 67 at the site of the Life <br />Star Ambulance Building. <br /> <br />There were no remonstrators present. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Steve Edwards, second by Vern Kimmel <br />to recommend approval of a zoning change from Agriculture to <br />B-2 for the Brown Township property located on Old State <br />Road 67 to the Mooresville Town Council. Motion passed 7-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Ralph Foley, Mr. Rick Davis, Mr. Chris White and <br />Mr. Ross Holloway appeared before the Mooresville Plan <br />Commission representing Davis Homes requesting preliminary <br />plat approval for PUD-R zoning for Grandview Subdivision <br />which is part of SE/4 T14N R2E SEC 31, containing 121.6 <br />acres. This parcel of land is located east of Johnson Road <br />and south of Hadley Road. <br /> <br />Mr. RiCk Davis presented an overView of this subdivision <br />which will consist of 290 lots which will range from 10,000 <br />square feet to 30,000 square feet in size. All the lots <br />contiguous to Johnson Road and Hadley Road will be 12,000 <br />square feet or greater in size. <br /> <br />Grandview Subdivision will contain 8.2 acres of lakes, <br />a walking path and a playground. All the homes in this sub- <br />division will be built by Davis Homes and will vary in style <br />and size. The homes will range from 1100 square feet to 2200 <br />square feet in living area. The developer plans to take the <br />inclines out of Hadley Road at Johnson Road to allow for <br />better visability in this area. An acceleration lane will be <br />
