, MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES '-- THURSDAY, MAY 28, 1992 - 7:30 p.m. MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL The Mooresvi11e Planning Commission met for their regular scheduled meeting on Thursday, May 28, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresvi11e Town Hall. Planning Commission members present were Bill Abbott, Bob Tucker, Steve Edwards, Vern Kimmel, Shirley Welker, Greg Bergesen and Charles McGuire. Also present was the Board's attorney, Timothy C. Currens. Board member Nicholson and Chairman Beebe were absent. In the absence of Board Chairman Beebe, Vice-Chairman Abbott presided. Motion to approve the April minutes was made by Steve Edwards. A second was made by Charles McGuire. Motion passed 6 -ð, with '-" Welker not voting because she was not present at April's meeting. NEW BUSINESS Mr. Boyd Head came before the Mooresvil1e Plan Commission with a request for plat approval and a rezone from AG to R-1a at 1261 Greencastle Road. Mr. Head passed out his proposed layouts for the Plan Commission members to review. Motion was made by Bob Tucker to recommend the rezoning from AG to R-1a to the Town Council. A second was made by Shirley Welker. Motion passed unanimously. The Plan Commission Board went over the plat approval check list to see that Mr. Head's plans met plat approval specifications. Motion was made to approve the plat subject to a variance for width to depth ratio, and a variance on sidewalks by Charles McGuire. A second was made by Bob Tucker. Motion passed unanimously.
