<br />-"" <br />; ,,~ <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regularly <br /> <br />scheduled meeting on August 23, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Present were <br /> <br />Board Members Robert Tucker, William Abbott, Steve Edwards, Vern <br /> <br />Kimmel, David Barry, and David Minardo. <br /> <br />Also present was the <br /> <br />Board's Attorney, Tim Currens, and Building Inspector Beikman. <br /> <br />Vice-Chairperson Tucker determined a quorum was present and <br /> <br />proceeded with approval of the minutes of July 19th and July 26th <br /> <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Dave Minardo was appointed acting secretary of the <br /> <br />meeting to execute the minutes. <br /> <br />The first item on the agenda was the Remster rezoning which <br /> <br />had been continued due to improper notice. <br /> <br />The next item on the <br /> <br />agenda was the petition from Kendrick Memorial Hospital, 1201 <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />Hadley Road, Mooresville, Indiana requesting agricultural to <br /> <br />general business rezoning. <br /> <br />The Board's Attorney advised that the <br /> <br />notices were in order. <br /> <br />The hospital was present by counsel <br /> <br />William VanDerPol and executive director, Bud Swisher. Mr. <br /> <br />VanDerPol showed where the property adjoined the existing Kendrick <br /> <br />Hospital property. <br /> <br />He stated there were no exact plans but wanted <br /> <br />to have the zoning consistent for all of the hospital property for <br /> <br />future expansion. <br /> <br />He stated that Kendrick Hospital has always <br /> <br />been a good neighbor to the Town and the adjoining area. <br /> <br />Exhibits <br /> <br />of the location of the land were introduced along with four <br /> <br />pictures. <br /> <br />Mr. Swisher advised that he had spoken to some of the <br /> <br />neighbors and there were no objections other than the normal <br /> <br />desire to have trees and flowers in their back yard versus <br />
