I - MINUTES OF MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION July 19, 1990 at 7:00 P.M. - The Mooresville Plan Commission met at the Mooresvi1le High School Auditorium July 19, 1990 at 7:00 P.M. at a special public hearing. Present were board members Signe Nicholson, William Abbott, Steve Edwards, Robert Tucker, Shirley Welker, and Joel Beebe. Present also was the board's attorney, Timothy C. Currens. The meeting was called to order by Signe Nicholson who introduced the board members and a copy of the existing Comprehensive Plan from 1979. Mrs. Nicholson stated that the Plan Commission had started its initial committee meetings for a redraft of the Comprehensive Plan two years ago. The original draft of the Comprehensive Plan was presented to the full Plan Commission in October of 1989 with the corresponding zoning ordinance being drafted after this point and presented in the spring of 1990. She advised that the Plan Commission had reviewed both documents and set the public hearing - for this evening for the public to comment on the Comprehensive Plan and ordinance and the respective zoning maps attached to each for a determination as to what changes would be made and whether or not the documents would be certified to the Town Council. Bob Tucker then proceeded with his presentation of the Comprehensive Plan verbally and with illustrations on the overhead viewer. He advised that the purpose of this plan was to help provide for orderly development and to look to the future for the type of development which the Plan Commission felt would be in the best interest of the town. He further advised that this document should be reviewed at least annually to keep it current. At the end of Mr. Tucker's presentation Signe Nicholson opened the hearing up to comments from the general public. Mr. Robson of 202 Robson Lane, Camby.
