<br />I <br /> <br />'--- <br /> <br />'--- <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regular meeting <br />place, the Mooresville Town Hall, on April 26, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present were Board Members Signe Nicholson, William Abbott, Steve <br />Edwards, Joel Beebe, Dave Minardo, Dave Barry, Vern Kimmel, Robert <br /> <br /> <br />Tucker and Shirley Welker. Also present was the Board's Attorney, <br /> <br /> <br />Tim Currens, and Building Inspector, Joe Beikman. Chairperson <br /> <br /> <br />Nicholson determined a quorum was present and proceeded with <br /> <br /> <br />approval of the minutes of the prior meeting. The Board's <br /> <br /> <br />Attorney advised that the notices on the Hopkins rezoning were <br /> <br /> <br />incorrect and that this matter would come up at the next meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />He also advised that the Remster rezoning would come up at the <br /> <br /> <br />next meeting and that the Haltom rezoning would be tabled due to <br /> <br /> <br />the Redevelopment Plan issue still being unresolved. <br /> <br /> <br />The first item of business was the special exception of Lee <br /> <br /> <br />Copeland, Dwayne M. Copeland, and Mary Jane Copeland for an <br /> <br /> <br />enlargement of the special exception of the White Lick Cemetery. <br /> <br /> <br />The petition requested approval of a special exception for 4.78 <br /> <br /> <br />acres as an extension of the White Lick Cemetery. George Fields <br /> <br /> <br />was present and spoke about the need of the cemetery to expand and <br /> <br /> <br />the Copelands advised that they were willing to sell the ground <br /> <br /> <br />provided that the special exception was approved. The Board's <br /> <br /> <br />Attorn~ advised that the current issue in front of the Board was <br /> <br /> <br />a determination of the character of the special exception and its <br /> <br /> <br />effect on the Master Land Use Plan. Joel Beebe moved to find and <br /> <br /> <br />report to the Board of Zoning Appeals that the special exception <br /> <br /> <br />request would not adversely affect the Master Land Use Plan.
