<br />I <br />, <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regular meeting <br /> <br />place, the Town Hall, at 7:30 P.M., on February 23, 1989. <br /> <br />Present were Board members Joel Beebe, Steve Edwards, Vernon <br /> <br />Kimmel, William Abbott, Shirley Welker, Dave Barry, Warren <br /> <br />Franklin, Signe Nicholson, and Robert Tucker. Building Inspector <br /> <br />Joe Beikman and the Board's Attorney, Timothy C. Currens, were <br /> <br />also present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Joel <br /> <br />Beebe, who determined that a quorum was present. The first item <br /> <br />on the agenda was approval of the minutes of the,prior meeting. <br /> <br />The Board then proceeded to new business, unsafe building <br /> <br />ordinance violations. Building Inspector Beikman had presented to <br /> <br />the Board's Attorney four potential unsafe structures located at <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />123 East High Street, on Williams Drive, East Harrison Street, and <br /> <br />165 Taylor Street. Each was +eviewed, and upon motion made by <br /> <br /> <br />Bill Abbott, the same being seconded and unanimously carried, the <br /> <br />Board's Attorney was instructed to mail to each property owner a <br /> <br />notice of the purported violation and an request to have the same <br /> <br />acted upon, or if there were any questions, to contact the <br /> <br />Building Inspector. <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda was the unsafe building viola- <br /> <br />tion at 2 West Main Street, a property owned by Frank and Mary <br /> <br />Lowry. The Building Inspector advised that the scaffolding had <br /> <br />been removed but no additional work had been completed to his <br /> <br />knowledge.
