<br />I <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at Town Hall on March 23, <br />1989 at 7:30 p.m. Present were Board Members Joel Beebe, Robert <br /> <br />Tucker, Shirley Welker, Dave Barry, Vern Kimmel, Warren Franklin, <br /> <br />Steve Edwards, William Abbott, and Signe Nicholson. Present on <br />behalf of Board Attorney Timcthy C. Currens, was Attorney Michael <br />A. Ksenak. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jcel <br /> <br />Beebe, who determined that a quorum was present. The Board <br /> <br />approved the minutes of the February 23, 1989, meeting. <br /> <br />Chairman Beebe determining there was no new businH~~ tl'HC <br /> <br />turned to old business. The only item to be presELted was an <br /> <br />update for the unsafe buildings located at 2 West Main Street, 125 <br />E. High Street, 7 William Drive, 5 East Harrison Street, and 165 <br />Taylor Street. Inspector Joe Beikman was not present, but <br />__ Attorney Ksenak had indicated that the Inspector had determined <br />that the owners were making progress at each of the sites and <br />requested that the Board give him permission to cite any of these <br />owners into the next meeting if problems arise. Steve Edwards <br /> <br />moved to give Inspector Beikman authority to cite any of the <br /> <br />owners of these properties into the April meeting should any <br />problem arise. The motion was seconded by Dave Barry and <br /> <br />unanimously carried. <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda was discussion regarding the <br /> <br />buffer zone maps and Master Land Use Plan Report. Signe Nicholson <br /> <br />reported that the committee had met and identified several major <br />categories of work that needed to be completed. She further <br />
