<br />I <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at the Town Hall on April <br />27, 1989, at 7:30 P.M. Present were Board members Joel Beebe, <br />William Abbott, steve Edwards, Robert Tucker, Shirley Welker, <br />Warren Franklin, David Barry, and Signe Nicholson. Present also <br /> <br />were the Board's Attorney, Timothy C. Currens, Building Inspector, <br /> <br />Joseph Beikman, and Economic Development Director, Randy Haymaker. <br /> <br />Chairman Beebe determined that there was a quorum present and <br /> <br />proceeded to open the meeting and approve the minutes of the prior <br />meeting. <br />The first item on the agenda was the special exception <br />request of Marlena Newcomb concerning the property at 117 E. South <br />Street, Mooresville, Indiana. This item had been referred by the <br />Board of Zoning Appeals, pursuant to the Town's ordinance, with a <br />request that the Plan Commission determine whether or not the pro- <br />posed use would adversely affect the Master Land Use Plan. <br />Present were Marlena Newcomb and Hansford Benge. Mr. Benge <br /> <br />explained the location and the use. In particular, he stated he <br /> <br />intended to build a building in the back which would be used <br />partially for his business which consisted of washer and dryer <br />repair and resale of Speed Queen washers. He also stated that in <br /> <br />the 24 X 40 foot garage, a portion of it would be used by his <br /> <br /> <br />daughter, who owned the property. He stated that the house that <br /> <br /> <br />fronted the property would continue to use its drive for the <br /> <br /> <br />residential use and also the property behind it.
