MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION

The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regular meeting
place, the Mooresville Town Hall, February 25, 1988 at 7:30 P.M.
Present were board members, Vern Kimmel, William Abbott, Steve

Edwards, Signe Nicholson, Dave Barry, Warren Franklin, Joel Beebe,

Tilford Bailey, and Robert Tucker. Building Inspector, Joseph
Beikman was present along with the Board's attorney, Timothy C.
Currens. Chairman Kimmel determined there was a quorum present
and proceeded to the approval of the minutes of the prior meeting.
The first item on the agenda was the revised plat from
Woodland Hills. The board's attorney advised that when the roads
were put in some of the lots were changed by approximately six (6)
inches to one (1) foot from one side of the road to the other and
this was the reason for the change in the drawings. A motion was
made by William Abbott to approve said amended plat, seconded by
Joel Beebe and unanimously carried.

The next item to come before the Board was the unsafe

building violation at One West Main Street on the Lowry property.
A discussion was had by the Board with the building inspector
regarding the status of the same and based upon the weather
conditions for placing the new type of roof, it was determined to
be in the best interest to continue this matter for an additional
thirty (30) days until the March meeting. A motion was made by
Tilford Bailey to extend this until the March meeting, seconded by
Steve Edwards, and unanimously carried.
The next item to come before the Board was the review of the

buffer zone expansion.

William Abbott provided maps to the board
