I

MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION
The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regular meeting
place, the Mooresville Town Hall, April 28, 1988 at 7:30 P.M.
Present were board members, Vern Kimmel, Bill Abbott, Robert
Tucker, Signe Nicholson, Dave Barry, Tilford Bailey, Joel Beebe,
and Warren Franklin. Building Inspector, Joseph Beikman was
present along with Attorney Michael A. Ksenak who was standing In
for board attorney, Timothy C. Currens. Chairman Kimmel
determined that a quorum was present and proceeded to approve the
minutes of the prior meeting.
Prior to proceeding with the agenda, Chairman Kimmel
indicated to the board that no one had offered compensation to
Bill Abbott for his preparation of the maps for the buffer zone.
He felt that some form of payment should be allowed. Bill Abbott
responded that his work for the town has always been on an hourly
basis. Tilford Bailey responded that his time sheets should be
provided to the town board for payment. Vern Kimmel indicated
that he had to leave for another commitment and vice chairman,

Joel Beebe took over.

Vice Chairman Beebe moved on to the first item on the agenda
which was the unsafe building ordinance violation for the property
located at 18 West Harrison Street. Attorney Ksenak advised that
the petitioner had requested a one month continuance which was

standard procedure for the board. Dave Barry moved to grant a

continuance for thirty days. The motion was seconded by Signe
Nicholson and unanimously carried.

'--
