<br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE <br />PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />The Mooresvil1e Plan Commission met at its regular meeting <br /> <br />place, the Mooresville Town Hall, at 7:30 P.M., September 22, <br /> <br />1988. <br /> <br />Present were Board members: <br /> <br />Vern Kimmel, Robert Tucker, <br /> <br />William Abbott, Steve Edwards, Tilford Bailey, David Barry, Joel <br /> <br />Beebe, Warren Franklin, and Signe Nicholson. <br /> <br />Present also was the <br /> <br />Building Inspector, Joseph Beikman, and the Plan Commission's <br /> <br />attorney, Timothy C. Currens. <br /> <br />Chairman Kimmel found that there was a quorum present and <br /> <br />proceeded to approval of the Minutes of the prior meeting. <br /> <br />The first item to come before the Board was the Special <br /> <br />Exception referral from the Board of Zoning Appeals on Steven G. <br /> <br />'--" <br /> <br />Beasley and Teresa J. Beasley for placement of a mobile home at <br /> <br />540 Keller Hill Road, plat size: <br /> <br />384 feet by 686.753 feet, <br /> <br />containing 6.04 acres. <br /> <br />After a brief discussion, William Abbott <br /> <br />moved that the Plan Commission report back to the Board of Zoning <br /> <br />Appeals that the proposed Special Exception would not have an <br /> <br />adverse effect on the Master Land Use Plan. <br /> <br />This was seconded by <br /> <br />Joel Beebe. <br /> <br />Chairman Kimmel entertained questions and Signe <br /> <br />Nicholson raised the issue of making a statement with the report <br /> <br />back to the Board of Zoning of why the finding was made. <br /> <br />The Board's attorney stated that this would be proper. <br /> <br />William Abbott then amended his motion to state that the recom- <br /> <br />mendation is because the residential use is in an area zoned for <br /> <br />residential uses and, by definition, would not be adverse to the <br /> <br />'--" <br />
